died unexpectedly on September 16, 2018,
due to a rare, aggressive form of cancer.
She loved to travel and was away on an
artist residence in France when she got the news.
artist residence in France when she got the news.
She has been a huge loss to her family and the community.
I miss her smile, laugh, grace and abundant creativity.
This is a great video if you want to hang out with her for a moment.
After her loss, I felt I needed to cancel the shows and
plans we had made for the coming year.
But the studio was not quiet.
It seemed I could hear her pushing me to not be idle...

Hello,
I came across the news of Beverly's passing today. I'm sitting here in deep sorrow to hear this. I was Beverly's hairdresser for quite awhile. She was a regular and we developed a friendship. I really admired her. I knew she was an artist, but she was very humble about it. We had many good conversations as I worked on her fabulous hair. She was a beauty inside a d out. Today is a sad one for me because she isn't with us.
I moved away from Eugene and am recently back. She went through my mind just the other day. Certain people stay with us. Beverly was one of those people...

Dear Ann,
Thank you for taking the time to write and share your friendship with Bev. Please let me know how I support you. She was one of those people for sure.
Sending you all the Best,
Beth
