fishy fishy fish ...

The name "humuhumu", the first part of the Hawaiian word used for all tiggerfishes, may mean something close to "fit pieces together". This could refer to the way some of the species' color patterns resemble blocks of colors. 

According to my horoscope I am at a crossroads.

"Cann't be looking pretty when you got to slop the hogs..." Hattie. Just finished watching "Deadwood" and followed up with some research on the role of women in such encampments.

Some Native American Indians recognize the pig as a symbol of the abundance of daily life and believe that it teaches us to celebrate life and share it with others.

It light of new events, I have started to create a set of prayer cards.  Just little prayers, thoughts, nostalgia from each day. Reminders of good thoughts and wishes of happiness. Will post more as they come.
